A great-looking lawn starts with how it's cut. We mow at the correct height for your turf type — for the tall fescue that dominates Piedmont lawns, that means keeping it around 3.5 to 4 inches, tall enough to shade out weeds and hold moisture through our hot summers.
Every visit includes crisp edging along driveways, walkways, and curbs, string trimming around beds, fences, and mailboxes, and blowing clippings off every hard surface before we leave. Sharp blades, alternating mow patterns, and a consistent schedule keep your turf healthy, not just short.
During the peak growing season from April through October, most Burlington-area lawns need weekly service. In the shoulder seasons we'll adjust frequency with you so you're never paying for cuts your lawn doesn't need.
Straight answers, before you ever pick up the phone.
During the growing season (roughly April through October) most lawns here need weekly mowing. In early spring and late fall, bi-weekly is usually plenty. We'll recommend a schedule based on your lawn, and adjust it as the season changes.
No. Most of our customers aren't. As long as we can access the lawn, we'll take care of everything and leave the property looking sharp.
By default we mulch-cut, which returns nutrients to the soil and is healthier for the turf. If clippings are heavy or you prefer bagging, just ask and we'll set your service up that way.
We shift to the next dry day and the rest of the schedule adjusts with it. You don't need to do anything — we'll keep you posted.
